Jonathan P. Ward has joined Pinto Coates Kyre & Brown as its new associate attorney. Jon graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Batchelor of Arts degree in 2001, and he graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina Law School with a Juris Doctor degree in 2007. He will concentrate his practice in the field of civil litigation.

David Brown was a speaker at the 2007 Superior Court Judge's Fall Conference. He spoke on "Coverage Issues for Construction Defect Claims." He also provided the judges a paper on the same topic written by him and Deb Bowers.

Ken Kyre was a speaker at the 2007 Fall Seminar of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (“NCADA”). His topic was "The Applicability of the North Carolina Products Liability Statute of Repose to Disease-Based Claims." Ken is the current President of the NCADA.
